Shipping & Delivery Policy
At Buylanyard, we specialize in custom made products tailored to your exact specifications. Because every order is unique, our delivery timelines are divided into two phases: Production Time and Transit Time.
1. Delivery Timelines
The following estimates include both the time to manufacture your custom goods and the time for delivery to your door. Note: Timelines begin only after digital proof approval and payment have been received.

2. The Custom Order Process
- Proof Approval: Once you place an order, our design team will send a digital proof for your review. Your delivery timeline starts from the moment you approve this proof.
- Variations: Lead times may vary based on order quantity (e.g., 5,000+ units), customization complexity (e.g., woven vs. printed), and seasonal peak volumes.
- Real-time Updates: You will receive a tracking number and an estimated arrival date as soon as your order leaves our facility.
3. Free Shipping Policy
We are pleased to offer Free Standard Shipping on qualifying orders under the following terms:
- Eligibility: Valid for orders within the Continental United States and Canada only.
- Exclusions: Remote or isolated regions (e.g., Hawaii, Alaska, Yukon, Nunavut) may incur additional “Beyond Point” surcharges.
- Service Type: Free shipping applies to Standard Delivery only. It cannot be applied to Expedited or Urgent orders.
- Bulk Orders: Wholesale or oversized orders may require special freight; please contact support@buylanyard.ca for a custom bulk order quote.
4. Shipping Issues & Damages
- Address Accuracy: We ship to the address provided at checkout. Buylanyard is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect address information.
- Damages: Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your lanyards or wristbands are damaged during transit, contact us within 48 hours with photo evidence so we can file a claim with the carrier.
1. Stock vs. Custom Orders
We offer different delivery timelines depending on whether your items are in stock or custom-made:
- Stock Orders (Plain/Unprinted): These items are typically processed within 2–3 business days. Estimated delivery is 1–2 weeks depending on your location.
- Custom Orders (Printed/Personalized): These require manufacturing from scratch. Delivery ranges from 1–4 weeks based on the service level selected at checkout (Standard, Expedited or Urgent).
2. Courier Delays & Third-Party Limitations
While we guarantee that your order will be produced and handed over to the courier on time for your chosen service level, Buylanyard is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Severe weather conditions or natural disasters.
- International Customs inspections or border hold-ups.
- Carrier-specific issues (e.g., missed sortation, mechanical failures, or labor strikes).
- High-volume holiday periods (e.g., Black Friday, Christmas).
Pro Tip: If you have a hard event deadline, we always recommend choosing a delivery tier that arrives at least 2–3 days prior to your event to account for potential courier delays.
